I believe there is a true move of the Holy Spirit going on right now in America and around the world. 

 

Part of what is new is being called the Apostolic Reformation.  Big words.  So what is it all about? 

Essentially there is momentum for a new step forward in the Fivefold Ministry (Eph 4:11-13) and with it the alignment of ministries to a model associated with the Five "gifts" to the church mentioned in Ephesians.  Apostles and Prophets, Teachers and Evangelists and Pastors, are taking up their places in the aray of ministry and gifting they carry. 

 

How does that look?  There are so many diverse forms and ministries taking shape within many traditions and  each one has different ideas on...

Needless to say, there is a great deal of writing and teaching going on right now on this subject.  This will continue for some time as apostolic ministry in the year 2015 and beyond grows and develops into a new and effective ministry. 

 

The freedom to focus on ministry of this kind along with the characteristics of this ministry make for some liberated Saints in all kinds of ways.   It also makes my heart very glad after years of "not fitting in" to the mold and mindsets of the pastor focused evangelical church.  

 

With many changes in the church, other teachings get attached to the current move of the Spirit.   There will certainly be a season of sorting out , discerning and growing in wisdom as this apostolic ministry is developed into a rich fullness in Christ Jesus. 

 

 

What are some of the characteristics of this movement?

 

The Holy Spirit has captured the hearts of many with a new mindset and understanding of the times and seasons we are in.  The move is on from denominational groups to apostolic families.   Powerful ministry is erupting all over the globe as apostolic voices rise and link with prophetic voices.  Righteouness is arisng and the Spirit is again revealing the Lord Jesus in profound and impacting ways.   Paul's vision, expressed in the book of Ephesians is finding a foothold.  The Fivefold Ministry vision is taking shape after 40+ years of progression and development.  

Is this rooted in the Word?  What are the characteristics of modern day apostolic ministry?   What are some serious points of confussion?   What are some serious points of renewal and restoratin that are needed?
